History

Founded in 1988 as an affiliate division of the Shaffer Distributing Company, Shaffer Services, Inc. (GO Amusements) was formed in Columbus, Ohio when Shaffer Distributing’s current owner and then President Steve Shaffer acquired and merged three local vending operators-GO Coin, Modern Music and Ace Vending.

Over the past thirty-plus years, reputational growth along with strategic acquisitions have allowed Shaffer Entertainment to expand its footprint across the Midwest with additional offices in Indianapolis and Richmond, Indiana. Most recently, we’ve expanded our footprint even further by providing our services to corporate accounts located throughout the United States.

Today, with fourth-generation family member Scott Shaffer as president, Shaffer Entertainment’s team of highly experienced veterans have developed a trusting reputation for providing customers the very best jukeboxes, arcade games, electronic dart boards, pool tables, crane merchandisers and ATMs.
